We're here!
Well, we made it! After a very long trip, we are safely in Cambodia. It's VERY hot here. We are trying to get a little more used to it so we are only sweating sometimes, and not ALL the time. Heidi and I have already taught in a couple classes. I have taught in 5 classes (Heidi too), and Robin-2 classes. I'm loving the teaching part. Who needs a degree? I get to explain things and write on the board, pronounce different words. It's great! Apart of that teaching was when we got to help in the preschool, the kids are so cute! They only really know how to say "hi", their ABC's, and "good morning teacher Anne." Hehe! We also have gotten to go to the market to get different kind of fruits to eat along with our traditional meals. Yummy.....I hope to be able to put up some pictures tomorrow for you. hey sweetie! thanks for the updates. glad to hear you're already at work. i know you can be very helpful to your new friends. when i come, want me to bring a case of anti-perspirant? guess i shouldn't have bought those new corduroy slacks...
